I'm not sure I have enough words to thank you for your kind wishes, gifts and cards. I have been completely overwhelmed by your generosity and kindness.
Below is a message that I have shared many times this week with families and one that I would like to share again xx
As I prepare to step down as Head of Pengeulan Primary, I want to say a heartfelt thank you for the trust and support you’ve shown me over the years.
Thank you for allowing me the privilege of working with your wonderfully funny, bright, and beautiful children. Watching them grow and thrive has been one of the greatest joys of my career.
Being Head of Pengeulan has been the most rewarding part of my 36-year career. This school is a truly special place — not just because of the staff or the children, but because of the incredible community that surrounds and uplifts it.
As the saying goes, “It takes a village to raise a child.” I’ve seen that in action every single day at Pengeulan — in the way you support your children, the school, and each other.
Thank you for being that village.
